PID Controller Optimization for a Magnetic Levitation System

Designed and optimized a PID controller for a nonlinear magnetic-levitation system. Reduced overshoot from 62% to 6.3% using MATLAB PID Tuner. Verified system stability and digital implementation feasibility.

Power System Stability and Protection Analysis in a Hybrid Renewable Grid

Modeled a hybrid coal, geothermal, hydro, solar, and wind power grid. Analyzed symmetrical faults, line outages, and dynamic load variations. Evaluated protection response, voltage stability, and power redistribution.

Intelligent Composting System

Developed an ESP32-based automated composting system. Implemented fuzzy control for aeration and moisture management. Integrated remote monitoring through a Kotlin mobile application. Achieved 2nd place for Best Report at TUSUR Winter School 2025.

Synthesizable MIPS32 Microprocessor

Designed a synthesizable MIPS32 processor using VHDL. Implemented the datapath, control unit, ALU, registers, and memory. Verified functionality through simulation and testbenches.

DC-DC Boost Converter

Designed and simulated a DC-DC boost converter. Selected components based on voltage and current requirements. Tested voltage gain, ripple, stability, and efficiency. Validated performance using laboratory measurements.

Colpitts Oscillator Design

Designed and simulated an oscillator circuit. Optimized component values for stable frequency output. Tested the output waveform using an oscilloscope. Analyzed frequency stability and signal distortion.

PPG Signal Filter

Designed low-pass and notch filters for PPG signal denoising. Reduced motion artifacts and electrical interference. Evaluated signal quality for heart-rate and variability analysis. Validated filter performance through signal-processing analysis.

Developed a clinic-management application using C and GTK4. Implemented patient records, visit logs, diagnoses, treatments, and CRUD operations. Added financial-reporting and data-management features.

Designed and simulated a BJT amplifier circuit. Created the PCB layout using KiCad. Completed circuit assembly, testing, and enclosure design.
